It is vital that we hold data to run our business. We have to contact our clients with regards to their orders. This can be over a long period of time. We will always hold data securely.

 

The reason we hold personal data

We hold prospective and client details in a secure manner. We do this so we can contact our database. We will only ever contact a person/company with their consent. We will never hold details without consent.

 

Our process and consumers rights regarding their personal information we hold about them

We will always ask in writing if we can hold details and explain how they will be stored. We will never share personal information.

 

We clearly explain to people why we need their details and how we use it

When communicating with people we always explain why we need their details and how we will hold them. We will never contact a client once a job has been completed unless they request we hold their details, we will then ask them for written confirmation.

 

Security measures we have in place for people’s personal data

We securely hold our client’s data by keeping our files in a locked filing cabinet. Data is also held on our company laptop, this is secured by a password to log on to the laptop.

 

If we have a breach of data protection rules

If we have a breach of data protection rules we will contact the I.C.O within 72 hours. We will inform the relevant person of the process and ensure they are contacted.
